LOVE & LYRICS is a stand-alone novella about boldly free-spirted Black American poet Raina Simpson. She is given one final academic year to complete her master’s thesis or she will not graduate. 

Enter her thesis advisor, the unbearably cocky British-Ghanaian Professor of Poetics, Luke Attah. According to the Dean, his career advancement is dependent on Raina’s success. Unfortunately he is Raina's newest enemy.

Following a period of mutual contempt, a steamy romance starts to unfold between the two. It forces a choice between love and ambition.
